Lisa Scolaro

Lisa joined our team in 2014 as Matthew’s primary support person and has since become a key liaison between Emerald Retirement Planning and our clients. Today she oversees the consistent delivery of services—communicating with clients, scheduling meetings, opening and updating accounts, and providing daily operational and organizational support. Her ability to build trust and rapport ensures that each client receives attentive, personalized care throughout their financial planning journey.

She graduated from the State University of New York at Albany, Prior to her position here, she spent 12 years as a Relationship Manager at Computershare, Inc. (formerly BNY Mellon), where she earned the BNY Mellon Spotlight on Success Award.

Lisa believes that being flexible, focused, and detail‑oriented leads to a superior client experience; this philosophy, combined with her relationship management expertise, helps her develop and sustain a high level of professionalism among staff and clientele. She is committed to helping Emerald Retirement Planning continue to build its reputation as a leader in the financial planning profession.

Personal Background: Lisa lives in North Rockland with her husband Chris and three daughters. She plays an active role in her community and at her children’s school. She enjoys watching her family play sports and visiting her daughters at college.
