Lauren joined Emerald Retirement Planning in 2025 as a Client Service Associate. She helps create a planning experience that is both thorough and client-centric.
She holds a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez, and began her career developing products within health and hygiene. After working in consumer products R&D for 10 years and navigating her own financial journey, she decided to transition into financial planning services in 2023. Her motivation is to help people become more financially secure. She has enjoyed working with advisors to develop creative, technical, and behavioral strategies that help clients make the most of their resources, achieve their goals, and build a stronger financial future.
Personal Background: Lauren lives in San Juan, PR. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, playing tennis, going to libraries and coffee shops, and spending time with family, nature, and a very dynamic Scottish Terrier. She loves planning memorable trips — whether they are weekends on the road or more elaborate adventures abroad.
